We really enjoyed body boarding on the beach last weekend. The waves were pretty strong and the lifeguards were being 'flipper police', but all in all a great couple of hours in the waves! We hired boards from Hawaii surf shop across the road and carried things down (turns out there are huts on the beach, which might be easier,... More

This is the best surfing beach in Donostia but is also great for playing in the waves and for just hanging out. One caution is that much of the water is often reserved for surfing only so if you are not a surfer your swimming area can be fairly small. We enjoyed the beach the entire year we were here... More

this beach was close to our location very handy. It's a surf beach and was extremely rough when we went swimming. Hold onto your bathers. we hired 2 beach lounges for 7€ extremely worth it for the day. Be warned, there are lots of top less women sun baking and very off putting even my husband agreed which was amusing.

Good head high surf one day, although lots of surfers out. I wonder about the quality of the water given the urban river flowing next to it, but so far no health problems.

Like the rest of the beaches in San Sebastián this one was also well organised and clean. Perhaps this one was less crowded than the others and more relaxing.

For me this is the best beach in San Sebastian. It's defiantly not as busy as the other two and even though it's classed as a surfing beach half the beach has calm good swimming waters. You can people watch and surfer watch on this beach and the facilities are very good indeed with chairs and umbrellas available to rent.... More

Clear water, tidy, sandy beach. And only 5 minutes walk from the Old Town. Not too busy either considering it was 30+ degrees today.

This urban beach is perfect for spending the day practicing your favourite sport. You can find parking and surfboards and wetsuits rentals at the beach. If hungry, no problem. You can also enjoy of fast food beach-bars. Sandy bottom beach, clear water and a nice swell for all, beginners and experienced surfers. It's a must in San Sebastian city.

I don't think you can go wrong with all of the beautiful beaches in the north of Spain. This beach was no exception, however, we thought preferred the beaches in old San Sebastian.
