Nice beach

I love this beach. Because its so long, you can always find a spot. The water is really clear and warm in the summer. I'm obsessed with San Sebastian.

Beware of the tide here, but La Concha is a gorgeous beach, with access to a number of facilities for bathroom / changing / beach showers. The proximity to the rest of town is also convenient for those who forget to pack sunscreen!

A crescent expanse of golden sand washed by the waves. A miniature Baie des Anges without the pebbles. The prom affords a place to run or stroll, a vantage point to take it all in. Looking inland to some of the architecture it is easy to imagine the "belle epoque".

We went in winter, so there wasn't very many people out. We sat on the beach and drank cava to watch the sunset.

I had the immense pleasure of touring much of Spain in 2016. And one of the most amazing stops on my journey was La Concha Beach at San Sebastián. There is a large expanse of sand stretching throughout two large bays; one for swimming and paddle boarding and the other for surfing. I live at Lake Tahoe & Hawaii and... More

Stopped for 1 night on our way home and discovered what a lovely city this is. The beach was glorious on a cold, wintry but sunny day. Everywhere was busy and so Spanish, not touristic. There were even some brave souls swimming in the sea while we were wrapped in hat, scarf and gloves. Lovely walk along the promenade and... More

Great beach, beautiful sand, just lovely to escape the hubbub of the City and just stroll for an hour or so. Water is clear and calm, and even at this time of year there are a few swimmers! Enjoy. Matt

Staying in San Sebastian over New Year was the perfect way to see in 2017. We arrived on Jan 30th in brilliant sunshine and blue skies which lasted the six days of our stay. Each day we took the chance of walking either on the Concha Beach or along the promenade. The atmosphere was great and everyday we saw people... More
