I traveled here as a day trip from where I live in La Rioja. It’s not too far from several cities, so it makes for the perfect day trip.

Me and my family had a look today- is ok, there is not too much left from the wall, but you can get an idea of how it was. The walk around it was actually much nicer than the wall itself. Cannot really recommend as...More

We spent a few hours in the centro area and you can’t help come across parts of the City walls. A shame it’s not fully visible but when you research the history of the City it is interesting to understand why, a free attraction.

Are you into castles and churches? Please visit Vitoria, the capital of the Basque territory in Spain. The most gorgeous medieval buildings, rich food and amazing hospitality. And if you are in the mood for nice beaches, San Sebastian is just 30 minites away.

The walls are only present in a very few places and are essentially rebuilt with attempts made to create the atmosphere of what once was in cedar blocks.

At first the atmosphere in this town felt a little uptight. Lot's a bars, lot's of young people hanging around, quite hard rock or alternative. We did not know what to make of it. Unexpectedly we ran into a lot of murals in this town....More

Very special experience! Just like getting lost in the old city while finding a new city within it. It was a great weather when I attended the tour which made it ever better.
