We booked the visit with the English speaking guide and she was very good. Although it took about an hour and a half the time flew by as it was so interesting, from the underground excavation to the top of the tower. There are quite a few stairs and some narrow passages to negotiate. The renovation is still ongoing.

I visited 4 years ago while there was still a lot of renovation to go. Today they have finished a lot of the cathedral. I would highly recommend a visit here to see the history of Vitoria and their cathedral. I take all visitors for a tour here.

A nice cathedral, quite subtle for a Spanish cathedral by all accounts. With a look if you are in the area

The cathedral is quite pretty but not exceptional. The architecture is interesting. However the exhibition of religious artifacts is definitely worth visiting. Be aware that the entrance is via the rear of the building and not the main door.Worth visiting if you are in the area.

The cathedral in Vitoria is been restored, but THE tour of the interior is overshadowed by the guided tour of THE restoration of the underground. The visit by ítself is worth the trip. You can actually Imagine the history of the City through the several renovations of the church. Specially interesting if you enjoy architecture.

very busy area due to Fiesta but impressive sight, surrounded shops, cafes and bars ideal for people watching buses stop nearby.

Sadly the outside of this 14th century cathedral is covered by scaffolding while it is undergoing restoration so from the outside it is not particularly attractive, maybe the inside is better.

This 14th century cathedral is still under restoration work and the only way to visit is through a guided tour. I recommend booking it online if possible. There are three types of tours: cathedral; catheral and tower; cathedral and city walls. The first one costs EUR 8.50. In March they did not have a tour in English but we were... More

Not only a beautiful cathedral, but a hotspot to understand the history of this marvelous city. Located in the old quarter, this cathedral is a gem to visitors and locals.
