Nina was a fantastic guide who took us on a wonderful hike with fabulous views we never could have navigated on our own. From our pre-trip correspondence thru to our parting, she was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She explained many things that we saw along the way in such an easy, engaging manner—she made learning fun for my son. And she helped us avoid a mini-disaster: my son left a pair of sunglasses at the hut where we registered and she was able to call back to Son Moragues and relay a message—and we got the glasses back thanks to her!! She made great recommendations about Mallorca and had such a pleasant way about her—we really enjoyed our time on the trail with Nina and consider it money very well spent!

We hiked all of the GR221 over 13 days last September. There were three of us, my husband and our adult daughter. We used the baggage transfer service of Mallora Hiking from beginning to end , so that we only had a light rucksack to carry each day. This was a terrific service, very efficient , and Nina was a great help on the few occasions that we needed to contact her. The bags were collected each morning and were in our accomodation when we arrived each afternoon. I can highly recommend this baggage transfer service. Hiking the GR221 was a magnificent experience. Having our bags transferred daily made this all the more enjoyable. Thank you, Nina, for a very professional and friendly service.

We took a bike tour along the waterfront and old town of Palma. Could not have had a better time! Our guide was fun and informative and we got to view this amazing city on a well maintained bike that took us to places we'd never have found on our own. Thanks so much for the great day!

Nina of Mallorca Hiking organised a super trip for us, hiking from Pollenca to Sant Elm. Every day was a treat, with great places to stay, lovely hikes, well explained, well guided, and with our desires first and foremost. I can not say enough about how great it was as a vacation.

Each day - we had our luggage shipped to the next hotel (except for one night in a super refuge). Each hotel was unique and full of charm. We learned a lot about Mallorcan geography, history, life - that we would never have known without our great guide.

I whole heartedly recommend Nina and Mallorca Hiking if you are thinking of doing the GR221 in a fun, relaxing and unique way.

We did a hike starting at Sant Elm up the coast to La Trapa with Isabel. She was an awesome guide and very entertaining. We enjoyed the hike up to overlook the coast and the views were one of a kind. We looked over to the island of Dragoneria and across the straight we could see the boats heading out to see. We even saw a couple goats on the side of the mountain.

The site of La Trapa was a great surprise. It reminded us of looking down on Machu Pichu. Reading about the monks that lived there was inspiring. Isabel brought along cheese, ham, olives, bread, tomatoes and wine for tapas lunch. She was also great company for lunch. She shared stories of life on Mallorca with her family.

I highly recommend Mallorca Hiking and especially Isabel. Isabel made the day memorable.

Thank you Isabel.

We did a 8 day hike along the GR221 with Mallorca Hiking this November and had an OUTSTANDING vacation.

Mallorca Hiking (Nina, Carlos and Jessica), organised, planned, and guided the entire trip for us (my husband and myself). We enjoyed every minute of it - the route, the hotels, our "gluten free" picnic lunches, the knowledge about the nature, history, culture, economy we learned from our great guides. We are experienced hikers so dont normally have a guide even for long hikes. However, we feel we got about 200% more out of this hike due to Mallorca Hiking than if we had done it alone. Thank you Nina, Carlos and Jessica for making this tailor made trip so exceptional for us!

PS. November is a great time to do the GR221

We did the Valldemossa to Deia hike (5.5hrs with stops, about 10k). It was a beautiful hike with gradual but significant ascent and stunning views of the rugged coastline. The hike starts at 200m elevation and goes up to about 1000m before descending to 100m in Deia. Nina was very responsive and helpful from the time we got in touch with her and once on the mountain she was a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide.

We did a hike with Nina from Esporoles to Banyalbufar. This is one of the many hikes they offer throughout Palma de Majorca and it included a stop at a local bodega for wine tasting. Hikes are categorized by skill level and distance.
The hike we did was just perfect. All along the way she described things we were seeing and she kept the pace just right. At Banyalbufar, she had arranged for a wine tasting and tapas at a small local winery. This was a great finish to a great hike. She had allocated plenty of time and we never felt like we were being rushed.
In her emails prior to our cruise, she goes over all of the details of the hike including transportation information to the starting point. We took a bus for the 30 minute ride and she was waiting for us at the stop. She promptly answered all questions we had.
This was a super way to see some of the beautiful countryside of Majorca. You will not be disappointed.

I recently took advantage of one of these day tours and what a great day out! The group was small which meant we got to ask any questions we wanted and the guide was very easy going with an extensive knowledge of Palma, and more than a few 'nuggets' of information you would not normally discover! All in all, an easy day's walking and plenty of info along the way.

I have done two of Mallorca Hiking's excursions, and loved both. I admit I was sceptical at first, walking with people I had never met, but I really enjoyed myself and found everyone very friendly and interesting and so booked a second one for the following week. The walks were exactly as the website had promised: packed with information and local stories, with stunning scenery and architecture. It all went exactly to plan from the pick up to the drop off, and the level of personal service made each day memorable. A real find for walkers visiting the island of Mallorca.
