Nina was a fantastic guide who took us on a wonderful hike with fabulous views we never could have navigated on our own. From our pre-trip correspondence thru to our parting, she was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She explained many things that we saw along the way in such an easy, engaging manner—she made learning fun for my son. And she helped us avoid a mini-disaster: my son left a pair of sunglasses at the hut where we registered and she was able to call back to Son Moragues and relay a message—and we got the glasses back thanks to her!! She made great recommendations about Mallorca and had such a pleasant way about her—we really enjoyed our time on the trail with Nina and consider it money very well spent!

We took a bike tour along the waterfront and old town of Palma. Could not have had a better time! Our guide was fun and informative and we got to view this amazing city on a well maintained bike that took us to places we'd never have found on our own. Thanks so much for the great day!

We did a hike starting at Sant Elm up the coast to La Trapa with Isabel. She was an awesome guide and very entertaining. We enjoyed the hike up to overlook the coast and the views were one of a kind. We looked over to the island of Dragoneria and across the straight we could see the boats heading out to see. We even saw a couple goats on the side of the mountain.

The site of La Trapa was a great surprise. It reminded us of looking down on Machu Pichu. Reading about the monks that lived there was inspiring. Isabel brought along cheese, ham, olives, bread, tomatoes and wine for tapas lunch. She was also great company for lunch. She shared stories of life on Mallorca with her family.

I highly recommend Mallorca Hiking and especially Isabel. Isabel made the day memorable.

Thank you Isabel.

Nina of Mallorca Hiking organised a super trip for us, hiking from Pollenca to Sant Elm. Every day was a treat, with great places to stay, lovely hikes, well explained, well guided, and with our desires first and foremost. I can not say enough about how great it was as a vacation.

Each day - we had our luggage shipped to the next hotel (except for one night in a super refuge). Each hotel was unique and full of charm. We learned a lot about Mallorcan geography, history, life - that we would never have known without our great guide.

I whole heartedly recommend Nina and Mallorca Hiking if you are thinking of doing the GR221 in a fun, relaxing and unique way.

We were 9 Norwegian” girls” who had booked a private tour,- color RED, destination – the ruins of La Trapa.

The walk was beautiful and varied,- flowers and green countryside on our rout, and the view absolutely stunning on the last part up !

Our guide Maurice was excellent,- very nice, considerate and skilled and made sure that each of the group was comfortable – balance problems on the rougher parts and injured toes taken care of – with warmth and humor.

The walk and nice scenery exceeded all our expectations , we can warmly recommend this tour with Mallorcahiking, and- a very tasty lunch with champagne at Es Moli in Sant Elm upon our return!

If your visiting Mallorca and looking for a chill hike with young baby or children Sóller offers a nice hike from the city center to the village of Fornalutx. It’s about a 5 mile hike round trip and offers beautiful country side views as you stroll through local lemon and orange groves. The village of Fornalutx offers a chance to refuel with coffee, lunch or a snack for the trip back to Sóller that has plenty of shops to explore, pastries to sample and a beautiful cathedral in the city center. If you have the chance you need to sample the local oranges as well!!

We had a customized walking itinerary with the wonderful, Joan. We walked from Calvia to Galilea and then headed to the Son Puig winery in Puigpunyent. The hike was only about 3.5 miles and 150 meters elevation but we strolled through olive, fig and almond fields and scrambled up limestone rocks. We had coffee in Galilea, overlooking a stunning valley. Then we headed to the Son Puig winery where, Isabelle, the woman who owned and ran the winery let us taste delicious wines, made by her family, and tapas, lovingly cooked by her mother. The grounds of the finca included sprawling vineyards, lanes of peach and cherry trees and a tiny 13th century chapel. I was in awe of this tour and how much fun we had. Book your tour with them if you’re looking to go to Mallorca- no question.

We joined this guided bike tour from our cruise onboard the Celebrity Constellation. Our guide Mauritz from the Netherlands was an absolutely fantastic guide. Both social and very knowledgable, and it was clear that he had a passion for history and knowledge as well as culture. He had special contacts at some of the stops where he clearly was well known and respected by the locals.

We have been in Palma a couple of times before, but now we finally know a little bit more about its fascinating history and important role with its special geographical position in the Meditteranean.

The bikes were in good condition, helmets were available as well as a basket to put stuff in during the tour.

Me and my wife warmly recommend spending a few hours with this guy for sure.

Completed a customized hiking tour with Joan today from Deia to Port de Sollar. It was well enjoyed and Joan took the extra steps to make sure all was enjoyed and done successfully including showing the typical Mallorcan meal with bread, tomatoes, olive oil and cheese. He also provided great tip to visit Port de Sa Calobra via ferry which was awesome to see along with the Torrent de Pareis. Highly recommended.

Our guide, Maurice, was a hiking enthusiast and a photographer. When he found out that both of us were quite fit, he modified the original plan. It was suppose to be an easy day of hiking, but we ended up having a rather full on day. Climbed a summit, went through a series of dark tunnels, up and down rocky trails.... We were rewarded with incredible views on the summit. About 1141m elevation.
Maurice was very friendly and knowledgable. He has travelled to many countries around the world, and he shared with us many of his experiences. He was clearly someone who did the job because he was passionate about hiking. And that made a massive difference.
We hiked about 22+km (according to my husband's Garmin), about 8+ hours amongst the nature. My husband and I had an epic day ... thank you to Maurice who suggested us to do more than planned. We had a memorable day!
That was not the end of it....
When I was on board my long distance flight back home a couple of days latter, I received a series of pictures (mostly candid) and a video clip. And all I could say was, "WOW! WOW! WOW!" I was so surprised as I did not even know when he took some of them.
One of the best gift anyone has ever given us. I have attached a few for your idea. I do not know how to attached the video, but it was so good.
Talking about going beyond the duty as a guide. Two thumbs up.
