We took the bus from Palma and had an easy walk down to this scenic rocky beach. Snorkeling was just ok, but the water was clear and refreshing. Fabulous lunch at the restaurant overlooking the cove. Booked a taxi from the bar to avoid the...More

This is an amazing place to visit when you visit the lovely Mallorca Island. Don't miss it! Well, I'm somehow found about this place, as I visited it in plain Mallorca winter (no snow though), but it was quite cold. Here's also where I said...More

I went on a windy day and couldn't swim because the waves were too large. On a calm day - the snorkeling and swimming are good - and the food is wonderful.

We walked from the village to the cove along the hikers track and were greeted with a fantastic view of the cove on arrival. The beach is mainly rocks but the sea is pretty calm and very clear. There are a couple of cafe/restaurants there...More

Deia is "a must of Mallorca". All of it: Walk around in the beautiful village, the best tapas restaurantes, the walk down to the beach and the Cala Dei

Great for walking. The most beautiful restaurant is Ca Padron March which is featured in the recent 'Night Manager' drama. It's about a 40 minute walk at medium pace down towards the sea but well worth the walk.

We love this cove! We have seen it with rough seas and on crystal calm days. . both worthy of the visit. Rocky beach. We prefer to take our own food/wine but the restaurants are OK, especially if you want some shade.

We love staying in Deia but have yet to manage a swim at Cala Deia. It is a good half hours steep walk to the beach where there are a couple of rustic restaurants. The cove is small and the beach stoney and when the...More

Great way to spend a day: walk down the track from Deia, have lunch in the cove and walk back up. The cove has two restaurants, we ate at the one attached to the rocks. It was very crowded and had great atmosphere. Best steamed...More

Really don't see why so many people rave about this cove. Maybe it's the chance to spot a celebrity? Very busy; we parked down the hill close to the cove but the walk down might challenge some. "Beach' is actually huge rocks. Some people were...More
