Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice place to have views over the island and learn a bit of history of Fuerteventura. We spend there a good hour enjoying the views. If you visit betancuria it’s a must do.

Again another point of interest on the Island tour. Bit busy at the parking place when in a coach....but worth it.
Statues are wonderful pieces of work...

We came upon these statues on a days drive around Fuerteventura. The statues are very striking but the view is amazing. They are located close to the historical village of Betancuria. If you get the chance to visit here you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic place to stop and take in the outstanding beauty and amazing views.
There is an information board that has a brief description of the view and a bit of history.
Don't go without a camera!

Lovely views over mountai s and landscape from this mirador that has 2 huge bronze statues- they curiously have 2 shiny bottoms presumably where tourists have caressed them for photos ?! Narrow, windy mountain roads

It’s a lovely view but I would suggest if you’re not good with heights don’t do the drive yourself, go as a passenger so you can close your eyes as there were several times I wished I could.

We stopped here for around 15-20 minutes. The views are fantastic (although it was a little misty when we visited), and there are some snippets of history on the displays.
It is difficult to get a sense of the scale of the statues until there but worth the visit. We also bought some handmade souvenirs (bracelets) cheaply from the vendor who had a stall just in front. He was very friendly and had plenty of choice and was not at all pushy.
It is extremely windy with no shade, and the road weaves it’s way through the mountains, with only a few spaces to park but we were very lucky and found a spot straight away.
If you’ve hired a car this is definitely worth visiting, something a little different from the standard tourist sights.

Nice on a summers day to stop off for a while. The views are outstanding but can be very windy so hold onto your hat.
