We was holidaying here for 2 weeks, it is a beautiful place with lots to see. Very clean & the locals are all very friendly.The beach was lovely & sandy with some rocky beaches too. We recommend Valle Gran Rey to anyone.

We stayed in Calera a short walk from both the beach and port. A great place for a holiday. Lovely walking, nice beach, some great restaurants and a nice laid back atmosphere.

so worth a visit.25 kilometres fron Santiago along windy roads but brarhtsking scenery on the cwsy. need shore car to do not possible by local buses. good beach sand grey rather than black! a few shops. A great day out.

Safe swimming, apparently, which is not the case everywhere on this island. A lot of beachside place and a certain amount of infrastructure, + a lot of Germans. I stayed up at La |Caldera, but came down here ( Playa) for shopping.
