This contemporary museum is a nice juxtaposition to the historical area of Vegueta around it. With free admission and regularly changing displays, sometimes controversial, it is always worth a visit. It provides a fresh and creative perspective of Las Palmas.

this is an old building in the main area of Vegueta and whether you like modern art or not, the building is worth a visit. There is a "rest area" on the top floor with amazing views of the cathedral with comfortable seats and shade.

Currently, Canarian artist Paco Sanchez is featured at this gallery. I'd never heard of him, but his paintings are interesting. Friendly gallery attendants and reception, as well.
