Always windy here, as it is very exposed and has been known to be treacherous, so take care, but worth watching the power of nature, as waves crash under the rocks and come out as steaming spray.

My family and I visited here on our holiday. Unlike other people, we were fortunate enough to see this without many other people. It was quite windy so the waves were awe inspiring and powerful. The path meanders through the lava field and has some...More

I recommend going there at the end of the day, when the sun gets low above the sea and the light turns to red and gold. Little stairs allow you to get a better view of the caves and the waves crashing against it. The...More

Do stop by this as you are driving around the island. The crashing waves will depend on the state of the sea and when we visited it was fairly calm but the walkways around and through the lava gave spectacular views of the caves and...More

This was my second visit here. It is with going to see the rugged coastline and the contrast in the landscape. It can be quite windy. Lovely to visit when the sun is starting to set. Free to visit and lots of places to park.

This could be an extraordinary place to visit, rugged waves meeting a lunar landscape, but the car park had maybe 50 cars and 3 tour buses when we were there late morning. There are better places to commune with Lanazarote's unique stark beauty.

This place is the best thing about Lanzarote in my opinion, I have been here for 10 days already and done all of the tourist attractions. Jameos de Agua is a close second, mirador del Rio 3rd. You can feel the true power of the...More

Beautiful lava rock formations and powerful waves. Free to see. Try not to come here with a tour. You don't need a guide, and being here with a tour ensures that all the good views will be occupied by people. Rent a car, drive here......More
