A beach favoured by the world's surfers and happy go lucky people. The beach and sea right at the end is difficult to reach as there are a huge amount of large black lava stones to negotiate before you eventually reach the water's edge. . Famara is also used by nudists who usually sunbathe in the hollows of the man-made... More

lovely beach to wonder along, close to a number of eateries, if you just want a snack no problem but if you want a meal with a view you can do that too

A great spot for walk, paddle or surf. Good selection of small cafes, restaurants and all round relaxed atmosphere.

Loved the beach to surf and paraglide. Too strong of a current for the young kids to get in but the older ones took surf lessons!

What an absolutely stunning beach, the scenery around it is so green and the mountain views are pretty dramatic, not a beach for swimming, in fact you're not allowed to but for surf sports it's perfect, stunning waves, warm water what more do you need? Lots of fresh drinking g water and good sunscreen, enjoy x

Large beach perfect for surfers, not touristy at all and suitable for a bit of paddling but mostly just a lovely walk

it's a surf beach. Good for a walk, stunning location, but life guides will approach anyone going for a swim and strongly advise against it. Looks like a great place for a surf.

This is an impressive beach with dynamic waves. It's a surfers paradise but also adequate for a long walk along the beach. Unfortunately, there is no bar offering sea view on this spot.
