We had the guided tour (in English) which was a good way to find your bearings. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and highlighted places that we went back to later on.

Worth a visit just to see the 17century building. Was the home of the Captain General of La Laguna for many years therefore a very important and impressive building. The information on offer is really good so try and use it

Worth a visit . Courtyard is an oasis of coolness and quiet off the shopping street. Helpful staff and a free map available with all the interesting buildings numbered on it .

We actually found the tourist office by accident. Other than a tourist map of the Old City in English, which was very helpful, there really wasn't much else to offer there.

Tenerife is romantic and beautiful. We stayed on the North end of the island and so glad we did. It was like being in a foreign paradise. The south end was a busy three ring circus. Tourist info were polite and spoke English.
