This hidden beach is really lovely. You can walk here from Puerto/La Paz, but be prepared for some steep parts of the path. Alternatively you drive (direction El Rincon) and park at the restaurant just above the cliffs of the beach. There is still a fairly long stairway to access the beach why it is not recommended for disabled or... More

You have to have faith in the directions to find this beach as it is down a series of narrow windy tracks. There is a car park though when you get there and a beach shack doing rolls and drinks etc. A basic toilet too. Black sand. Chilled vibe and big waves. Tricky to swim without getting knocked of your... More

A short trip away from Puerto de la Cruz you can find this beautiful beach. It is quite difficult to get there as you either have to walk all the way from Puerto de la Cruz or drive and park your car in the area and walk down to the beach. We chose the second option and we were really... More

Secluded spot, peace and tranquility, away from the masses. Found this beach through TripAdvisor, search . Concur with other reviewers, difficult to find, glad we had the sat-nav, parking a little difficult, especially on the day we went, car park closed, probably due to it being the end of the holiday season, so we had to walk a little further,... Away from the hustle of Puerto De la Cruz this beach is a short trip away and definitely worth the trip. We ran from our hotel on our morning run after being told about this secretive place... it takes some finding but wow as you come over the cliff the view is amazing and when we arrived the beach was... The most amazing place we have ever been. It is natural place with black sand, big waves, beautiful surrounding, it is clean (no trash on the beach, enough trash cans there), they have toilet, peaceful and big beach with not a lot of visitors at least not when we were there, if you ask us it is only for young... enjoyed a lovely walk from Porto de la Cruz to Bollullo, through the banana plantation, and the old terraces. the beach is fascinating, with the black volcanic sand and the big waves. very relaxing, nit at all busy, and a coffee shop, well stocked and with friendly staff. all good. well worth a visit.

The beach is so nice with big waves and such a black sparkling sand that gives you the wish to stay here forever. Is not a full of tourists beach which makes it better, is not a noisy one and all the people that comes here are nice, too. You can eat some snacks on the bar, but don't hope... More

Beautiful natural beach. Big waves, small chiringuito, nice atmosphere. 35 minutes walk from La Paz side of town.
