This house located in the Jewish neighbourhood of Toledo was supposed to be the former house of the painter El Greco. With time it is proved to be false, and the owner tried to recreate an atmosphere of what they should be or believed that...More

I'm not sure if we went in on a free day, or not, but we were expecting to pay and it was free. We aren't huge fans of renaissance art, but the collection was quite good. The home and gardens were just beautiful.

If you love art you can't visit Toledo without visiting this museum. El Greco paintings and works are all over Toledo but this house is a must. It isn't the house he actually lived in, it is a similar type of building of that time...More

I enjoyed this more than I thought. Especially, the fact that it had actually been El Greco's house. Actually enjoyed it more than Cathedral!

Just enjoyed visiting and learning about the painter and the history of his works. It was very nicely done. Lots to see but not too much that you get too tired or bored, especially travelling with kids.

Toledo it is by himself a master piece of medieval art. Start with the railway station with a strong sephardic art influence, continue with beautiful buildings from the Old Town. In the Old Town, one of the must see objective it the house of the...More

We had a few hours before leaving Toledo, so we decided to visit the museum. From its exterior, we didn't expect this museum to be as good as the others we've visited, but we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the inside was so...More
