When in Madrid, you need to stop by Toledo to visit the churches, museums, and synagogues. This site is one of the oldest in town. The bridge dates back to the 14th century. It has beautiful views of Toledo. Also the river and dam is a beautiful site to see. There is also a long zip line if your are... More

We walked across the old part of Toledo and had to cross this rather long bridge. It has a nice view and was a pleasant stroll. We saw some people doing a flying fox ride across the river. Good end to our tour of Toledo.

We were on a tour of the city of Toledo known as the "City of Three Cultures" as the Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together for centuries here. We finished the tour at this bridge which was constructed in the late 14th century by an archbishop to provide access to the old town from the west. The medieval bridge spans... More

Be sure to walk to the river and find this beautiful bridge. There are photo opportunities from both sides of the bridge depending on the time of day. There is a zipline that runs across the river and you can take photos near this point.

Brilliant spot for photos. Also had the flying fox or zip line nearby for those who want to do something a little different.

This bridge is convenient to visit if you're coming from the train station as it connects the main part of Toledo to the trains. It has lovely and breathtaking views. Take your time to stand along the sides and bask in the amazing scenery.

This bridge is a great introduction to the old city part of Toledo. Not only is it an intersting combination of Moorish and Christian styles that are best seen in the Gates and Arches but walking across will give you amazing views. Your camera will click with each step.

This is a beautiful bridge which connects to the imperial city of Toledo. It was built by Muslims and later rebuilt by Christians, so you will be able to see a mix of both cultures (see the 2 gates and arches at entrance to see the cultural blend). This was also used by the then rulers to control who enters... More
