Don't miss this Cathedral, in many ways the most impressive in Spain. Stunning stained glass windows give wonderful shafts of light. Looks great floodlight at night too

Did not see it January saw it in November 2016 from the outside. I toured the inside 5 years ago and also stayed for the mass. The architecture is Gothic. It is a sister Cathedral to the Rheins Cathedral in France. The Cathedral is beautiful during the day and spectacular at night. It is lit up a night so you... More

We were passing through Leon on our way to San Sebastian. We knew about the Cathedral but hadn't read about stained glass that was the highlight for us. Enough though it was a quick visit it was worth doing.

Nicest glasses you can see on a cathdral. If possible try to have a sunny time to visit it in order to enjoy the colourful windows. A must see

A gothic masterpiece, famous for its outstanding stained glass, unique. There are more than a hundred stained an area of 1,800 m2, it is considered the second after the Chartres Cathedral in France.

A stunning cathedral. Well worth a visit. Audioguide is helpful and informative. Cloister is also beautiful and worth taking time to visit, even for the perspective of the facade.

Be sure to visit the Cathedral at a time of the day with plenty of natural light to enjoy the stunning stained-glass windows. If you are in León for a few days, program your visit according to the weather forecast to make sure you enjoy the visit to this Cathedral full of colour and light.

We stayed at the Paradore hotel adjacent and we're able to witness the Cathedral during a service. The building is spectacular and can be visited at ground level or viewed from the cloisters of the hotel.

The Cathedral is massive and so a lot to see and takes a while to wonder through. It is somewhat pricey.
