Plaza del Grano is my favourite square in Leon. It feels roomy, peaceful and non-touristy, and with its rough old cobbles, attractive church and pleasant cafe bars it is a great place to spend a lazy hour. So if you are minded to give it...More

Charming and quant plaza to sit or pass through or have a drink in. It was very calm when I was there and really I could have stepped back in time! Warning - do not wear heels!!! Pebbly original ground which adds to its character.

Though this small square is apart from the Barrio Húmedo, there are several tapas bars in a stone-paved square that takes you to the 100-years-ago León.

It´s a quiet place in the centre of the city, just behind the crowded streets, but still very calm and charming, especially at night.
