The gardens are beautiful, are located a little bit from the central area. The gardens are amazing and are a great place to walk around and have a stroll. The gardens have a decent terrace type area which provides great views of the city and the place is a nice spot sometime.

This beautiful garden is near the traffic lanes for tourists but is regularly missed. Lots of trees to provide shade from the mid-day sun, flowers to view from the many benches, and paths for strolling. An arbour of grapevines, a fountain, and a lovely small water garden with a trickle of water running from two levels are some of the surprises hidden here.

It's a bit hidden but when you discover it... wow! I was lucky to watch the sunset from there and it's probably one of the best places to do that in Salamanca!

I am not sure why some reviews on Tripadvisor are rejected. We visit Salamanca nearly every year and go to this little gem of a park in the old town. I would say no more than it is small, very peaceful and beautifully maintained. Somehow these comments are insufficient to merit a review being published. You can sit and watch the world go by in this place, visit it and imagine you were here 100 years ago, I think little will have changed. Hopefully this might encourage a few more travellers to go and see for themselves.

This is a small and delightful garden around the back of the cathedral and close by the Casa Lis/Museum of Art Deco & Art Nouveau. It is perched on the city walls, and as well as having some beautifully maintained garden beds offers nice views and some pleasant spots to sit and enjoy the sun (or the shade). An excellent spot for a picnic lunch.
