For a small entrance fee we climbed the bell tower for views over the city. The highlights were however the fine views of the interior of both old and new cathedrals from balconies high above the nave.

When you have the occasion to do the Ieronimus, you shouldn’t hesitate. When will you get another chance to climb on the top of a catedral?

Well organised and informative self guided tour up the towers and through the higher reaches of both cathedrals which was really great. The views from all galleries were spectacular and made the moderate climb all worthwhile. No need to visit gym after this trip.

One most definitely should climb up the stairs, quite narrow at some places, to ultimately be awarded with a wonderful view of the University town. Don't miss this.

Climb the stairs and get an amazing glimps of the cathedral's interior and exterior. The view on the city is really worth the climb.

Really liked going up the tower! It isn’t tiring because you stop along the way up. The view from the city and beyond is just beautiful!

Seeing the new and old cathedral from above was great! You have access to all parts of the cathedrals and the views from the city were amazing as well!

Fantastic views from the top of the clock tower. There are lots of stairs, but not all at once. They also have a very efficient traffic light system so that people are not going up and coming down at the same time. Costs a few...More

Not included in tours but look for the door. Well worth the climb up. Superb views from up high of Salamanca. The kids loved it.
