The views are just about worth the climb up the very narrow wooden staircase. There are no guides, leaflets, display plaques with any information in anything except Spanish. Also, note that your ticket will not let you into the rest of the building.

Going up the tower provides you with a grand vista of Salamanca. It is open from 10am to 8pm. Entrance for individuals is 3.75euro. However, if you are visiting on a Tuesday (except holidays) it is free from 10 to 12. But be prepared to...More

You can view see great view of the city from the top of the tower. Not too high, but really great!!!

This one is not that difficult to climb and the views looking out over the rooftops are a worth while payoff.

We queued expecting to visit the building but were told that there were only Spanish speaking tours but we could climb the steps for the views for free.Thank you

Totally worth the climb - though maybe not if you have any sort of vertigo. We were up on a very windy day - maybe that is why there were only four of us the whole time! View is spectacular.

but the inside can be visited ONLY with Spanish language guided tour..... Part of the altar can be seen from a window during climbing the steps.
