We’d been excited for weeks looking forward to this trip, and it didn’t disappoint- in fact, it surpassed our expectations!
We spent 3 fantastic days meandering around the quiet back roads of Segovia and Pedraza.
The countryside views were breathtaking, combined with pit stops to enjoy traditional local refreshments, and to share our ride experiences.
The first hotel in Pedraza was magical, with views across all directions - and families of Storks for company. This medieval town is a Spanish gem!
Back in Segovia, the unforgettable Parador hotel delivered an awe-inspiring finale to our journey.
We’d like to thank Javier for his professionalism and guidance throughout our experience. He certainly knows what he’s doing. The Vespas themselves are modern and very easy to handle. They don’t go fast, you don’t want to go fast.
If you’re reading this, we certainly hope you can share in this experience.

What an amazing few days touring around the beautiful Spanish hiltop towns and villages. Our guide (Javier) was absolutely great. This was our eighth annual Vespa adventure and Javier organised the whole event, including the hotels, he guided us each day and escorted us to dinner each evening. I would highly recomend taking a Vespa adventure and I will definietly be back for more.

Just got back from an amazing tour of the beautiful Segovia and surrounding areas. Riding a shiny red vespa through the beautiful countryside and small towns is an absolute dream. The scent of the wild flowers, the open roads with very little traffic make riding a complete pleasure. Javier is a fabulous guide, his local knowledge is second to none. He introduced us to wonderful hotels and fantastic local food. Beautiful countryside , wonderful local towns and great riding make this the best holiday ever.

My husband and I chose the 3 night 4 day self guided Vespa tour. We took the train to Segovia, Javier picked us up and brought us to our starting location in Navafria. He explained along the way what we will be experiencing. They set up all of our hotels and gave us a map and booklet of what we should expect to see throughout our time here. It was by far one of the most wonderful and interesting trips I have ever experienced. We chose the "Expedition" which was a little higher, steeper and curvier the some of the other options. It is not for the faint of heart. I am not super adventurous and the one part I was definitely a bit nervous on was what they call "the great wall of China" once I got through that, it was all a breeze. (My husband had no trouble and no fear) The towns we were sent to were not only beautiful and secluded from the rest of the world, there were almost no tourists. We made our way through many small towns stopping for lunch and just watching the local people go by. The first 2 nights we ate at the hotels. The food was all local cuisine and we were amazed how good it was. The third night we decided to dine at a local restaurant where we had their signature lamb. It was delicious. There was not a single meal we did not devour. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR to anyone seeking a true adventure wanting to just enjoy the open air and beautiful areas of Spain you would not otherwise see.

Scooter Tour Spain are a brilliant way to see the Spanish countryside...
Javier is an excellent guide...really makes you feel safe on the vespas, looks after everyone and great company. Having Alvaro in the van following always gives you the option of taking it easy.
It's a well planned trip with beautiful countryside, quiet, medieval towns amazing food...highly recommend a trip with Scooter Tour Spain (get a t-shirt too...they're cool!)

Where do I start! I organised a surprise trip for my partner with his friends. I was given the idea by a friend from work who had also been and we weren't let down. It was just a short break but what an amazing short break it was.
We did a self tour around Segovia and stayed somewhere different each night. The country side and views were just stunning. The people were so friendly even though we couldn't speak any Spanish! The food that we had cooked for us was delicious too and in such beautiful settings.
Getting to a from the set off point was really easy and we were collected and dropped off on time. Communication was great and I had no problem organizing the trip at all.
Self tour was extremely fun, we got lost occasionally but soon found our way back, we never had any issues with the road or the driving out there either. The map was lacking a bit in details so I would pre download google maps of the are so you have a bit more to go on.
We were a group of 4 and only my partner had ridden bikes/scooters often, Don't be put off if you've never done it before you pick it up very quickly.
A laugh a minute and truly a wonderful experience, can't recommend this enough!

We our experienced on both Vespas and motorcycles and thought this would be a nice way to see the Segovian countryside. The two of us did a private tour with Javier and were not disappointed. His Vespas were in good condition and his knowledge of the sights he took us to see was more then adequate. The price was very fair given the amount of time and passion Javier gave to us.
The backroads of of Segovia are just lovely! We enjoyed flying down the roads on the Vespas(125cc)just as much as seeing some of the historic castles.
You are in good hands with Javier!

My family and I did a one day Vespa tour with Scooter Tour Spain. There were seven of us total, with three kids (ages 9,11 and 15) and four adult drivers. We got off to a rocky start by missing our high speed train from Madrid, but Javier and Jose were so accommodating, they agreed to delay our tour an extra 2 hours until we arrived and picked us up at a completely different train station! We spent some time learning the basics and then hit the road. The scenery was amazing and we enjoyed the stops we made along the way. It was really something to be able to drive through the streets of Segovia! We had some varying abilities in our group with driving a scooter, and the patience and professionalism of both Javier and Jose was outstanding.

This tour exceeded all of our expectations. There were 10 Vespa riders on the trip I joined, although I didn't know anyone else we we're all pretty much good friends by the end of day one and by the end of day four we were great friends that are still in touch. The guides were very supportive, knowledgeable and fun to be around. The hotels were a great mix of quirky and luxury and the scenery and villages we visited were breathtaking. I will definitely be back for more, John Allan - June 2016

Does anyone know if I can bring my own backpack with me on the Vespa? It’s just under 40L and has a waterproof cover. I just don’t think the 20L bag will be big enough for me.

Hello,
One of our Vespas has a front and a back rack so you could carry your staff in the two racks. Also a 40Liter bag progably fits fine. So yes no problem. We will find the way.

Hi! Just wondering where you keep luggage during your trip? I see wonderful photos of people on the vespas with small bags but no suitcases so that's why I was wondering. Thanks!

Hello. Thank you for your question. since we always see our clients to had over the Vespas or to guide groups we take care of the main suitcases and our clients get it back when we see them at the end. Hope this helps.
