Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

These towers do indeed look like they were designed in classic Venice. They are at the Placa D'Espana, at the old bull fight ring and near the Magic Fountain. Lots of traffic buzzing around the big circle here make it difficult for pedestrians. Noisy and polluted.

Torres Venecianes are a lovely two towers leading the way to the Magic Fountain of Montjuic and the start of the Montjuic area. They are located close to Plaza Espana and accesible with public transport. You can have a nice view on them and also on the area if you climb on top of the Mall located near the Plaza. Definitely worth checking if you are in the area.

The Venetian Towers is a pair of towers on the south Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina, close to the Placa D'Espanya. The towers are supposedly modelled on St. Mark's Campanile in Venice. If that means nothing, then imagine 47 metre high obelisk shaped tower made of red bricks and topped with a pyramidal copper roof. The pair of towers make a dramatic entrance to the avenue and the magic fountain.

Large towers built for the world Expo in the 1920's and said to be modelled on similar towers from Venice. very striking as you pass through here from the Placa de Espana heading up Montjuic to the MNAC

These two towers are pretty much the same as the placa espana. The colour is great and really weird.

Torres Venecianes are twin towers on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina at its junction with Plaça d'Espanya. They serve as an elaborate entrance to the beautiful Magic Fountain, the Art Museum and the general Montjuïc area beyond. The red brick towers are quite huge, about 50 metres high and were built as part of the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona. This is a great sight and is best viewed from the Arenas de Barcelona Shopping Mall, across the road. The towers were modelled along the design of the campanile of St. Mark's Basilica in Venice, and this explains why they are referred to as Torres Venecianes. They are an absolute must see.

These two 47 meter-tall towers are located at the entrance of Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina, which is the gateway to Montjuïc.

They were built to the 1929 International Exposition and given this name because their design was modeled on the Campanile of St Mark's Basilica in Venice.

The towers are open to the public only on special occasions. They are best seen from the roof of Arenas de Barcelona.

This is one of the iconic landmarks of Barcelona, the twin Venetian towers, serving like a gate to complement with the monuments situated in the center. They are nice and of course they have a story to tell, standing in the test of time. From here, you can visit the Barcelona Expo, Parc de les Cascades and the Olympic Stadium etc as they are all located in the vicinity.

Now, it has become one of the key photo stop locations in the city and do be careful of the on coming vehicles when taking photos with them as backdrop.

These towers are so impressive as you look up to the Majic Fountain. Yes, put this on your list of things to do. You can either walk or see the towers from a HOHO bus.

The 47-meter tall twin "Venetian Towers" were originally built as yet another grand gateway for the 1929 Barcelona World Expo. Seem a bit out of place in today's Barcelona, but that's part of what makes Barcelona special.
