Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is an interesting modern skyscraper, much reminding on London's Gherkin.
It is set in Barcelona's northeastern suburbs, and is becoming one of city symbols.
I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it, but it was just on our way entering the city from Costa Brava direction.
Very nice architecture and specially interesting at night when illuminated.

This building is so tall that it seems to always be on the horizon. It is located at a major crossroads, the Place de Les Glories. It is part of massive urban renewal in a former industrial area. Modern, without charm, not very interesting.

An icon building that you will notice from all over the city. It's more mesmerizing at the night time with lights and colors.

This building is like the Barcelona version of the Gherkin in London. The Torre Agbar is much like the Gherkin in shape, it’s a distinctive piece of contemporary architecture that stands out in a relatively open area. The coloured square panes that cover the exterior is a mixture of red and blue shades that remind me of the sunset or sunrise. The colours of the building are further accentuated by the nocturnal illumination.
Definitely worth coming here both night and day to see the contrast.

"Agbar” is an abbreviation for Aigües de Barcelona which is the municipal water company and belongs to the Grupo Agbar. It is a 38 storied building opened recently in Spain around 10 years back. It looks beautiful by day but during night it is illuminated in different colors and a fascinating sight to watch. It is 38 stories in height and is visible from most part of the cities. For the tourist this serves as a landmark to position himself within the city and mark his place, hotel or other sight seeing monuments. It is located in the city center amidst various historical and monumental sites.
Technically the tower represents a water fountain that constantly changes its appearance and the 4,500 illuminated glass panels with coloured aluminium sheeting that reflects the light consists of 40 different colours of high gloss.
There is an entrance fees for the visitors but entry to the top floor is restricted. It is not worth buying the tickets as the beauty of the building is to be relished from outside and not inside.

This building is AMAZING. The lights are phenomenal, the grounds surrounding the building are beautiful. There is a metro very nearby so it is not too difficult to find and very worth the time to get here. There is a wonderful art exhibit nearby that uses LED lights built into the ground and microphones you can sing into to cause the lights to dance and play and change color and texture. It is quite an experience at night to be lighting up a HUGE plaza with colors facilitated by your voice! And then to look up and see Torre Agbar in it's splendor in the evening, AHH, bellisimo! We didn't go inside or take any tours and still thought this experience was review worthy, definitely go at night to get the full artistic wonder and not just the architectural prowess.

Stepping out of the Glories metro station, this tall unique looking building stood staring at us. With it's multi-color lighting combination, it definitely stood apart from any other building around. It was quite windy out there. We enjoyed spending some time around, in the vicinity of this unique and differently lit building.

This building stands out like a sore thumb in the Barcelona skyline. The building is lit up at night, and then becomes beautiful. I understand the view from the viewing level is great.
