Haven't enjoyed the karaoke as much this time, it's not fairly done in order of first come first served with the singing list. I enjoy karaoke and don't mind waiting my turn but not so with certain dj.

Went here after my husband went here with his mates. He thought it would be good for us to go on a cheap overseas holiday and do some shopping. Booked a half board stay in a 4 star hotel (Melia) for just over £1000. After spending a week there, its safe to say I wouldn't go again. Many shops have... More

I was ripped off exchanging 100 sterling, advertised 1.38 euros, gave me 1.12 euros, when I complained they turned their backs on me and pointed out a notice inside their room which states you only get that rate on changing 600 to 2000 pounds. Lesson learnt but out of pocket by 20 pounds.Stick to tobaconnist next to Ale Hop, it's... More

This money exchange office is in the small row of shops adjacent to the Flash Hotel. They claim to speak no English and rip you off at 20% commission. Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
