I just visited this shopping mall. This place is so quiet even on a Saturday afternoon. More than half of the shop space is empty with no tenant.
Only the restaurants facing the seafront were doing brisk business. If you are thinking of going for some shopping, then you will be disappointed.
It is very near to Port Vell though.

I went to Mare Magnum for coffee and the service was pleasant and the environment great. My negative experience was on contact with the on-site security. We went to use the public restrooms and the entrance was guarded by two shop security guards who informed us that the toilets were being cleaned.
We sought other toilets at the far end that floor and could see that these were in use. We were followed by a young security guard who ordered use out of these toilet facilities shouting that cleaning was in progress.
This was not the case and other people were using the facilities and were not given the same treatment.
I am at a loss to understand our selection other than we were visitors and given different treatment from other patrons who appeared to be locals.

Pleasant way to spend an hour or two on a hot day. The wooden walkways offer great views of the marina. We walked around and back through a park which brought you over the marina with its variety of yachts and sailboats. Plenty of activities around too.

This mall is overrated & expensive. If your time is limited in Barcelona don’t waste it by coming here. If you do decide to go, bring plenty of coins for the toilets as you have to pay to use them! Also, the shops & restaurants are more expensive than elsewhere around La Rambla.
It’s worth a visit but don’t expect a bargain or value for money.

From the Christopher Columbus statue, cross the road and over the port bridge you’ll find the shopping mall of Maremagnum. Nice to wander around here and watch the boats roll in. Nice restaurants and shops. View towards Parc Montjuic nice. Ideal to chill.

Lovely mall just opp the Harbour front. Not very big but lovely stores. Miss Zara there but other shops are good. Good places to eat. Close to the cristopher columbus statue. Beautiful view of the ocean from the mall

Very nice shopping mall close to the sea, the only one we found open during the weekend. Close to it you can find the Aquarium which I recommend you also visit. Also in thr mall you can rent small cars foe kids which are really nice. Also, they have a nice playground for kids, even suited for smaller kids. Definitely worth checking tho not very big in size.

A great spot for all weather's.
Some well known high Street brands and smaller independent one's.
The bar on the top floor is a nice chill out area with good music played at the right level.
The only negative is the toilets. We couldn't understand why one of the toilets closed for a while to be cleaned. Normally, a notice is sufficient allowing the public to know a cleaner is present

The best place to go with kids, on the way to the mall you can let them run around on the wooden deck, outside the mall there are alot of boats and seagulls and in the mall there is Zara outlet called Lefties....

Commercial center located at the end of la ramblas, beyond Columbus Monument, just above the sea. You can access it by crossing a long bridge above the sea and enjoy the views.
Many shops, terraces, discotheques, movie theaters, Europe's largest aquarium and a lot of hobby activities.
For shopping don't expect that much, however the view through the port daytime and nighttime is really amazing.

Hi there,
I will be visiting in June. Family have been and visited a lovely restaurant however their directions are “across a bridge that lifts for the boats to pass. It might be called Maremagum but I’m not sure if that’s the name of the Mall itself. It was an outdoor seating area with parasols. Hope someone can help. Many thanks

Maremagum --it is the name of mall, which isin the next building end of bridge, located on the 1st floor, just go down :)

avevo letto alcuni articoli in cui parlavano di schermi giganti, ma solo nel caso in cui la Spagna fosse arrivata in finale o semifinale..per cui dubito, ma magari qualche bar offrirà lo spettacolo.

He probado varios y he repetido en muchas ocasiones en Monchos para mariscadas de precio ajustado pero de calidad media y tambien suelo ir a Elx mejor servicio, mejores arroces pero se sale por no menos de 35/40 € por barba. Hay uno en la planta superior que probaremos en la proxima visita y que reservando a traves de "el tenedor"ofrece un atractivo descuento
