Rented a few bikes for two whole days for just €20 per person. Staff spoke fluent english and were very friendly. Locks and chains were provided for free. Unfortunately one pedal from one of the bikes was loose making it harder to ride but being in a very central area, we quickly replaced the bike and got back to see... More

We were so happy to have found Ride or Die Barcelona. We were staying the the Born area and rented bikes for two days to explore the rest of the city. Barcelona is an extremely safe and bikable city. There is no way we would have seen as much as we did on foot. Reasonable pricing, and they even had... More

Myself and two teenage boys spent a fantastic afternoon with Carlos riding around the magnificent Barcelona . He gave us a great understanding of the city's layout and took us to all the amazing sites - that would have spend hours walking and finding ourselves ! Carlos left the script a bit for us as well ,got us the Skate... More

Carlos was an outstanding guide! He was very knowledgable and was able to accommodate our tight schedule. He showed us unique parts of the city we would not have seen had we not taken this tour.

Great value and good bikes. The 5 gears were helpful on the hill up to the monument. The staff were really helpful and supplied a cycle helmet ( possibly the only person in Barcelona to wear one.)

Great little place for stylish bike hire. I say stylish as they were old bikes with baskets but a couple of them did have dodgy brakes! I didn't care, it was all part of the experience in my opinion! I hired from them twice in the week I was in Barcelona, their hire rates were brilliant, something like 4 Euros... More

We rented bikes from ride or die after spotting it the day before, and I'm really glad we did as the whole experience was exactly what we were after. Both members of staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly and the rates for bike hire are amazing! €2 for an hour or €10 for the whole day, which is... More

Great bikes and really great and personale service. We rented bikes there two times during our stay, and both times we got good advice on how to get around. Reasonable prices.

We deliberately chose Ride or Die for our bike hire/tour this morning after looking through TA reviews. When we arrived in their el Born shop we were told that there was no tour on, despite their website stating that they ran one at 11am every day and you could just turn up to either of their shops. The girl in... More

Valentina gave an amazing Ride or Die bike tour. She took us to the prettiest, least touristy parts of the city to parks that we didn't even knew existed! I would recommend this tour to all!

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
