We had an amazing time on this tour. Great group of people and Francesco shared a lot of insight into the catalonia way of life and the food and drink that is a part of that culture. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Barcelona!

Fantastic tour with fresh new areas outside the normal tourist scene. The spontaneity of the tour and food history made this one of our best memories in Spain.

Our guide, Cesc Castro, was a wonderful teacher and guide to the city's food scene and cultural-culinary backstories. We visited places most travelers might never find, which was the whole idea. Thanks again for a great adventure in food!

This is not your average food tour. It is very much an insider's guide to the food scene in Barcelona. The food and the wine was plentiful and the places we went to won't be found in the Lonely Planet. It will well worth the...More

Thank you, Cara and Jose, for reminding that ours is not a cookie-cutter tour but a way to understand the local history through its food. We hope you enjoyed the Via Verda bike trip along Costa Brava and our recommendations at rural Catalonia. Regards from...More

Gràcies, Kristin and family. We love our guests to get to know that Catalonia is much more than Barcelona and the big capitals, then visiting small producers and rural restaurants is our way to support this atypical tourism. Btw, loved your sarcastic sense of humor...More

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
