Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This curious walkway connects the busy Rambla with the new leisure area in Barcelona’s old harbour, or Port Vell. When you are standing on this quayside area it feelsas if you are on an observation deck overlooking the sea. The site features three main leisure facilities, the Imax cinema, the Aquarium and the Maremagnum, a shopping centre with a wide variety of shops and restaurants.

When we visited in mid-April, the entire wooden walkway was under construction. This meant that we were walking on a very narrow partially enclosed temporary walkway for the entire length of the boardwalk. It was made worse by the fact that people walking in both directions had to use the same narrow path. It was very congested and took a long time to traverse, but I found people were very patient with it. I understand that construction needs to be done, but I am disappointed that we did not get to enjoy walking down the actual "Rambla del Mar" and taking in it's surroundings.

I do recommend a long walk in this area to enjoy the views of the sea and port as well as some dramatic architecture. You see a bit of the city as well. Come here on a sunny day, but seek some shade eventually.

Great place to visit and lots to see and do.Lots of old buildings around the roundabout.Looks like the whole place is co been done up as a lot of construction around the roundabout I walked around the place.Boat trips in the harbour and shopping area.
A few food trailers were around to eat street food.Everywhere was clean and tidy and plenty of police on patrol.

This is the walk area along the water where there are a lot of features, especially for tourists. Come here in good weather but not when it is too hot as there is little shade. Lots of attractions, and of course, food and drink.

It is a lovely harbour area in Barcelona where you can really enjoy a sunny day. There are several sculptures/works of art as well as a range of restaurants, etc.

Wavy in form and giving a fine stroll by the water, it was grand traversing it at sunset.

Everything looked memorable as the sun sank, silhouetting the surrounds in grand contrasts.

Incredible view during night time. They say that when ship and ferry come, it will moves. And if you accidentally fall down from bridge because of that, you will be captured by camera and you will be on TV in the end of the year.

Lovely area to walk along the harbour with lots of boats and yachts. Interesting to see when the boats come out, the bridge moves to allow transport. There are lots of bench seats along the harbour to sit and watch the world.
