Came here on my son’s recommendation who is a bit of a foodie - sorry to say I couldn’t see the attraction. Service was so laid back it bordered on rude and whilst the food was OK it didn’t stand out - the setting was...More
We finally stopped at this great little dive after walking by every time we left our hotel. It was always packed with locals. Great juices for breakfast, house made vermouth with your tapas. Super yummy, glad we finally stopped in.
Excellent find! A little jewel of a tapas bar which is easy to miss. Tapas are excellent, patatas brava, anchovy tapas are highly recommended and there's another tapa which is toasted bread with anchovies, alioli and green peppers which is to die for. Service good...More
I spend one afternoon in this bar workin' at my laptop and drinking coffee and beer.
The price is very cheap, the atmosphere so nice.
I loved the plug very useful to recharge my laptop, the strong wifi and the owner.
I will come back...More
We stumbled across this after going to the Boqueria market. There are tables in a courtyard, and well priced tapas. We had a vermouth and a Patatas Bravas which was made with smoked paprika. Not traditional but one of the nicest we had in Barcelona

Yesterday, I stopped by for a cafe and paid 50 euro bill since I...More

We went to this bar after I found it on Trip Advisor and had seen on the internet it was a top secret gem in Barcelona. The bar is literally on the street and you can either stand outside against the bar or there is...More
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
