Private tour with lunch - Montserrat was a great way to start our holiday and well worth the cost. Our guide was excellent, and he not only knew many things about Monserrat but was also wondering versed in the overall history of Catalonia. We can not recommend Rainbow Tours highly enough.

This was my first trip to Barcelona and because I was traveling solo, I booked three tours with Rainbow and together they delivered the best experiences I had in this beautiful historic city. The cost of each tour was reasonable and the one-on-one dynamic was very satisfying. Each of my guides was well educated, informative and enthusiastic. Sergio took me on a tour of Modernist Architecture. He was a natural teacher, pointing out motifs and asking me for my interpretation.I highly recommend this tour that ends at Sagrada Familia. Touring the Basilica was one of the highlights of my life! The following day I went on an E-Bike tour of the city with Ramon. He was an adventurer and also highly informed of the history and geography of Barcelona. The bikes were a wonderful way to see the city, from its central square to the seaside, Marc took me on a nighttime tour of bars and clubs. Even though I am very comfortable exploring these places by myself, Marc was an excellent conversationalist and he did take me to Candy Darling -- an awesome industrial-style club with a cool, welcoming vibe. Thank you Rainbow Tours for all the arrangements and follow up. And thank you Sergio, Ramon and Marc - You helped make my trip to Barcelona the most memorable experience, I recommend all of you highly!!

My young guide arrived punctually and we proceeded to a room in the lobby, where showed me his teaching aid--a bit outmoded in our age--of photos in a book. I taught for 30 years and a good lesson plan is the one you discard. But we followed the program and it was informative and very pleasant. To say that after modernisme ( Gaudi's sui generis Art Nouveau) there was no architecture is a statement only a true aficionado could make.

Xavi was able to teach me a great deal about the area and Spanish history during our tour and answered all the questions I asked.

We were recommended Rainbow Tours by friends of ours. We were glad we followed up with this advice. The office staff were incredibly helpful and prompt with email communication. They clearly outlined the itinerary for this tour, including sending a photo of our guide with his contact # , photo of where to meet (usually the guide will meet people at their hotel and take them to the start of the tour but we opted to meet at a central location as our tour was in the afternoon). Our guide, Marc, was helpful, fun, knowledgeable, and kept the tour personal with him answering our specific questions, and we lingered in the Cathedral as a wedding was taking place. Did not feel rushed on the tour. We highly recommend Marc and Rainbow Tours. We also did another tour the day before of the Sagrada Familia with Ramon.. Also have posted that review. Ramon was another great guide. Highly recommend this company if you are straight, or LGTBQ.
