It opens in the morning every day, serving very good Italian coffee and breakfasts.According enter the evening and the night, the intensity of the lights goes down and raises the heat of the music and of the customers, especially for the “spark” that provides one or more drinks served with care and with pleasure enjoyed.Do his strategic location in full heart of “gracia” (easy to explain, in the same corner of travessera with torrent de l’olla), or do the Free Wi-Fi, or even do the bohemian and urban environment, it’s a good place to meet any whom and at any hour, be for a authentic cappuccino, a few nachos with guacamole or an assortment of Iberian charcutery. The important thing is to be always able to side it with the most appropriate drink..To take note, apart from his gintonics and mojitos, to his assortment of beers (draught and bottle), the “meter of beer” to share, the “frozen daiquiri’s and piñacolada“, the focaccias, the tapa’s set for 2 persons…It also has a room with pool-table, sports events on TV, and all sourrunded of the best music (as they say).Describe the environment that you can “breathe”, the interactivity of his polyglot customers, the good feeling among the “staff”, you know the global “feeling”, is difficult, therefore the best thing that you can do if curiosity is killing you is: GET IN AND FEEL IT PERSONALLY. Certain things cannot be told.Do not forget that thursdy’s Mojitos and the Caipis cost only 5 €, Wednesday’s is the long-drink’s day and friday’s are Gin Tonics’s Degustation…… And if you’re up to beer, monday to friday pint of lager 2 € ¡¡¡ until 20:30 !!!Let me see… which day is today… sure that’s a good day to go to EL OTRO !!

Nice and friendly bar in Gracia

El Otro is a nice bar in Gracia. They have a large selection of cocktails (check the daily Gin&Tonic). They have darts and lots of TVs to follow your team playing.

We left the teenager at home. I got an amazing cocktail (hendricks), the boyfriend had a beer. He also appreciated the music play list. A wonderful bar.

Hello Branka ! thanks for your nice review. I´m glad you liked my place. Pitty you didn´t had a couple of days more to spend in Barcelona and in " El Otro". I would let you try the third "special shot" of the house. Don´t worry, next time you will ! More

We found this place by chance, walking down the street. Tapas variety is wide, tasty and at honest price. Staff is really kind and service is fast; they also speak english and italian. Nice mood inside. You must try it! :-)

We first spotted this place when walking around Gracia and saw an offer for a set Tapas for two menu. The staff were very friendly, spoke English very well and even told us there were better tables to sit at further back (don't be put off if the front area is crowded there is more room further in). We had... More

The owner imports the coffee served here from italy and is sure to only use fresh milk with the coffee. Fresh, he told me, as in purchased that day fresh. This really is a hidden gem of a place for coffee. I found myself coming a second day just to have some.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. It's a nice cozy bar with some tables. There was good music playing from the speakers and the host was really friendly.

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
