Neighbourhood: Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.

We managed to get out just in time with a few clues along the way. It was a great team thing-everyone can join in finding clues and trying to work out what they mean. Different but a lot of fun. You need to be clear where it is as you could walk passed it without realising.

Thank you very much for your opinion, we appreciate it a lot.
We know that the game begins for some foreign players on searching the location :)
We would like to put more lights and signals at the entrance but legally we can not do that.

I had heard about these type of escapes from my sister, so I was thrilled when we found one in Barcelona!
60 minutes to escape
Solve puzzles to find keys and combinations
It sounds so simple - but it was so exhilarating and entertaining! I went with just my sister - so we were a group of 2. I think it worked well for us though because we trust each other and know the skills the other one has - so we flew through the place looking for clues, trying keys, collecting pieces and trying to make sense of it all.
One of the best features is that they have a mail-slot in the door - and will give you clues if they see you are stuck (closed circuit tv). We needed this because we don't speak or read Spanish, and some of the clues were in Spanish - so we would never have known how to use them.
There were some "false clues" that meant nothing, but not enough that they really distracted us from progressing to the next puzzle. It's amazing how you find random pieces and your brain can figure out how to tie them together to solve it - without directions or someone telling you what to do. I don't want to give too many details because that would ruin the experience - but just know there are keys, combination locks of all kinds, brain teasers, and more to keep you busy!
We managed to escape with about 30 seconds left! And with one minute left, the countdown clock beeps every second - so the tension builds and makes it that much more stressful (in a fun way).
I know we were so hyped up from the whole experience - we talked about it the rest of the night! The funny thing is, even right after it was over, I'm pretty sure if you dropped me back in the exact same room again, I wouldn't escape any faster (if at all) - because I solved some clues, and my sister solved other ones, and I don't even know all that she did!
You should definitely consider this as something new to try. Take a group of friends. Stretch your brain muscles. You'll have an awesome time - and share a memory forever!

If you are in Barcelona and you have some time to spend away from the typical sightseeing or it is a rainy day, you should totally check out this escape room. We had a lot of fun doing it, it was very challenging, exciting, and rewarding as even though we were only with the two of us, we managed to solve all the riddles. I totally recommend it!

We had to take a long train ride including changing stations from Sitges to get to this attraction. Once we got there we walked around for an hour looking for it and none of the locals knew what it was. We had followed all the directions on the website but it turned out the shutters had been down and the only sign they had was on the window covered by the shutter. When we eventually got in the woman opened the locked door a tiny crack and asked if we had a booking, we did not, then she said we can book for later but it's €44!! That's a bit much for an hour of a game we only went to to pass a little time. We only went there as it was ranked 4th on tripadvisor but I'll have to disagree with the other reviews.

I am really sorry that you have this opinion, although you did not play our game.
I was wondering why you came from far away without a booking and not knowing the price of this type of atraction. From TripAdvisor you can see all the information that you need for no waste your time: we have a phone number, an e-mail and a website where you can review all the details.
About the way I opened the door it was because there was a team playing and they can not be disturb or be interrupted, this is why we have an online booking system.
Respecting the price, I would like that you play an escape room to know why the price is 44 euros, really it is a cheap price for the service.
Regards,
Margot

We played Roomin as a couple. It was great fun - I can't recommend this enough! I noticed some people saying 3+ but we were fine with 2.
The game is very well put together and organized. For ~20 euro each, it's a bargain. It's only a few stops on the metro from the city center, and the area it is in has great food choices and shops to browse!
PS - we escaped. Just & with a little help.
DO IT!

My husband and I did 3 escape rooms in Barcelona, and this was the second.
It's a really cool concept, and is definitely more of a classic logic flow room than one with physical aspects.
We enjoyed the flow of the room, and the range of clues. The facilitator was fantastic as well, and understood perfectly when to provide clues and when to leave us to it.
One thing I would say is that there is no waiting room. So if you're a bit early (like we were) you don't really have a choice but to sit outside on the doorstep! This was ok in the balmy evening weather but I imagine could be a bit frustrating if it's tipping down with rain.

Hi great player!
Thank you very much for writing about us and for your good feeling and review, we are very happy to know that the activity was perfectly synchronized.
About the waiting room, we are the first one that wanted it but when we designed the rooms, we had to decided to win more space for the game.
The advantage of being in a charming neighborhood is that most of the players take a coffee in one of the several squares with terraces to be 'recharge', punctual and ready for the activity! ;)
Best wishes,
Roomin Team

This is an excellent opportunity to do something completely different from what you might normally do.
This place is easily located and offers great challenges for all. We were a group of three and found this perfect. The puzzles were very difficult but clues provided from time to time were very helpful.
Would recommend this to everyone.
We made it out!! Great sense of achievement when puzzles get solved

Took my 2 teenage daughters aged 15 and 14. They weren't sure at first but as soon as we entered the room, they loved it!

Spending a weekend in Barcelona we decided to try this. I can't tell to much about what you will encounter, because this will ruin the experience.
All I can say is that it's a hillarious detective scouting expedition where you need teamwork and inventive thinking to get into the next room, safe, cabinet or even make it back outside again.

This was such a fun game! If you've ever played escape the house online it's like that but 10x as fun in real life. Only cost us €8 each so was a great deal. The lady who runs it was so nice and translated it into English for our 3 groups of people so the language barrier wasn't an issue. Would recommend this to everyone :)

El de gangsters , si somos 2 personas? Se puede hacer bien?
Gracias

Saludos.
