Tucked away in the old city (probably Born not Gotic) lovely little low lit bar with jazz playing and a laid back atmosphere. Drinks are great but you may be waiting a while if you are ordering cocktails as this is usually a one man...More

We ended a tapas/wine tour in El Nus and what a perfect place it was. Off the beaten path in the Gotic District, my favorite part of Barcelona. Would have liked to have gone back to visit for a longer amount of time and try...More

This is the oldest bar in the area. It keeps an authentic atmosphear inside the Gothic quartier. You can have a good drink by the jazz soft music and the kind attention of the German bar tender feeling the current real Barcelona.

Seriously. Best mojito I've ever had. The bartender was really nice and friendly and full of info about the history of the bar and the pieces in it. It is really interesting inside and they have live Catalan music on certain nights, which we just...More

We stumbled in on a Tuesday night in June and even though the bar was quite empty it was where we spent our most enjoyable night in Barcelona. The bartender gave us a history lesson about the bar and the area while soothing jazz music...More

I agree with Doddsys, quality little Bar, just off the little alleys. Great atmosphere, very friendly service. Perfect before eating, very busy later on, particularly as it's so small. Good Gin list for a small place. Well worth a visit.

We came across this bar whilst wandering around the narrow alleys, and I'm not sure we'd find it again easily. It was like being invited into someone's house to have a drink. We were the only non Spanish in the bar, but felt completely at...More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants
