The Placa del Pi is located in Ciutat Vella, outside the front door of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi. A lively market is house by the square.

This is a happy, somewhat peaceful place with history and art all around. Plus street vendors on different days sell all kinds of things. Very few tourists so that in itself is good. Once stayed in the hotel across the way.
