We hiked up and all around the fortress at the top. Good views from the trail at the base of the fortress. Nice picnic area among shady pines nearby. We wished we had saved our money and walked back down. The walk is neither long nor difficult for able-bodied people and next time I would save my money.

The cable car is a must if you wish to see Barcelona from above. When you get off the cable car there is a cafe/restaurant called Salts. Their terrace provides amazing views over the city and is a great place to take photos. It also over looks the olympic swimming & diving pools. You can grab a beer and food. The castle at the top is impressive and if you walk behind the castle there are steps down to the main road where you can walk to the harbour and beach.

Pretty telefrique with two stops. The castle stop was breath taking with amazing views. It is not stroller friendly due to the stones at the top which makes the ride tough. Also could’ve been more convenient if there was a cafe near the castle. A picture with the flag of Catalonia was the highlight.

Absolutely loved this cable car journey. The views are out of this world. €16 adult ticket to go up to the castle and back down. Had a walk around the top and then travelled back down. Only wish, is that there could be a cafe up at the top. Or at least benches/seating. Would be wonderful to sit with a coffee and enjoy the views and the weather.

The cable cars provide an amazing view of Barcelona and there are several stop off points for you to get out and explore the park. This is good value for money compared to many of the tourist attractions in Barcelona. If you buy one of the travel cards for the metro this will allow you access to the line which takes you right to Parc de Montjuic. If you try and walk from Paral-let it’s a very hilly walk with loads of steps so beware!!

It was nice to be able to purchase tickets up to 90 days in advance. There are no timed tickets. It was very busy at noon on a weekday. It took 40 minutes from the time we entered the line until the top. The line does move quickly and the website says they move 2000 people per hour. The ride was very smooth and relaxing. Cool views from all angles. We did not stop at the middle stop. There were no lines at the top or the middle stop to get back down.

It was very pretty but not a must do. It was a bit of a long line but it moved fast. It’s a little overpriced for the length but the views are just spectacular. On the way back from the castle you can stop and there is a nice little food place and good views.

The cable car was very comfortable, the view of the city were amazing. On the way down we stopped at the miredor and then walked the remaining way through the park. The Castell de Montjuic at the top was an additional fee that I didn’t feel was worth the expense. However there’s a nice walk for free around the perimeter of the outer walls providing wonderful views of the city and harbor area.

The views, as others have said, are great. The ride is smooth & the queues move quickly. The journey is too quick & the area is not a ‘must see’ if you have a list of things you’d like to do. It’s expensive for what it is and sadly we were a little disappointed with it.

We took an Uber all the way up here thinking this was the long cable car system that went to the port, but this is just for going from the road up the hill to the castle. It offers nice views and gave us the chance to see the outside of the castle and much of the city scape from way above. It's priced reasonably and the wait wasn’t long to get in, pay and then get on the cable car.
