Because there are several similar offerings in Barcelona it can be a little confusing sorting out which one you are buying the ticket for and which routes they will be travelling. So make sure are getting the routes and attractions you want before buying the ticket. Otherwise it is a great way to get an overview of all sights Barcelona... More

We were unsure if we should do the bus tour as thought it was a bit pricey. Really glad that we did as it gives a really thorough tour of Barcelona. I would recommend starting early as there is a huge area to cover. The only downside was that sometimes the audio was a little behind.

We went round Barcelona on this bus, Staff were courteous and speak very good English. Also, helpful with the baby buggy. You get an earpiece which you connect to the audio jerk to listen to the narration as you tour the city. The Red Bus goes to the most area of the city includes the Olympic village, Port, Espanyal, Cable... More

We got a two day pass, it was worth it. The journeys provided a good overview of Barcelona and then you can revisit areas of interest. There was the occasional problem with sound which we overcame by moving. Only two of the routes were running. The Red route we found was MUCH more interesting than the blue route although the... The system is old and needs to be overhauled asap. The outlets for the earphones are only by the window seat. The person not in window seat needs to bend over and plug in the earphones over the persons lap sitting next to the plug. The sound is scratchy and unclear. 9 out of 10 times the outlets do not... We got on the bus (red route) at Placa d'Espanya and followed the red route to Placa de Catalunya, where we transferred onto the blue route, went all the way round and back onto the red route for our return to Placa d'Espanya. Saw everything and when we knew our favourites, we made plans to go round again the next... More

We were told to use the hop-on/hop-off service, but we didn't realize that there was more than one. We paid 45 Euros for a 2-day pass ($35 for a one-day NO 3-day available). I was disappointed. They are double decker buses and tout their running commentary. However, some of the buses are old and the sound system is old, poor... More

We got a two day pass. We really only needed to get a one day as we only used the second day a little but but I felt we had to get our money's worth since we had already bought the pass. Should have used public transportation once we knew our way around as making the loop takes a long... More
