We had one day to spend in Barcelona. Our hotel recommended Barcelona VIP tours and Abel as our guide. We chose a 4 hour walking tour. It was perfect! You can request your itinerary of things u want to see or museums u want to explore. We booked our tour from 9-1 and made a reservation at the Sagrada Familia at 1.. We let Abel make the decisions for the rest. He is so knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be around! He walked us to the Sagrada and gave us a thorough description of the cathedral before entering.. there is a dress code, ladies must have shoulders covered, but there is a handy guy waiting to give u a cover for 5 euros. I also knew what museums I might want to visit as we stopped at the various places such as the Picasso Museum. This tour is perfect and I have already recommended to some friends and I am hoping my son will make it to Barcelona this week and meet Abel. Thank- u so much Abel for making our trip to Barcelona perfect!

Our tour guide Abel, a very knowledgeable and personable Barcelona native, took us on a 4 hour walking tour of the Barcelona Gothic quarter, which is the city’s historical soul. In excellent English, he gave us a well paced education of the many forces, that over the centuries, have contributed to Barcelona’s current vibrant personality and economy. Stops on the tour included the Picasso Museum, various churches, palaces, tucked away squares and alleyways-at each stop Abel explained how that place has contributed to Barcelona’s rich culture and current diversity.

Our hotel recommended Barcelona VIP and Abel.
Abel and the tour/information he gave us was the highlight of our stay in Barcelona! We left with Gaudi in our hearts and a true friend in Abel.
My sister and I highly recommend Abel for anyone interested in a storyteller inclusive of history and facts to make a memorable day(s).

The two of us spent three days touring with Abel. He and the drivers were fantastic. He sensed our preferences and adjusted based on those. The commentary and sites chosen were perfect. In addition, he was very helpful with dinner and flamenco reservations—he even pulled special favors to get us a reservation at a fully booked restaurant. Absolutely excellent! We fully recommend the company, Abel, and Alberto, our driver!

My husband, mother-in-law, and friend went on a walking tour with Abel a few weeks ago and had the BEST TIME. I met Abel a few years ago when I was in Barcelona working on a film and he was recommended to us for a day tour and so when I booked this trip, I knew it would not be complete without another tour with Abel. Having now toured the beautiful city of Barcelona twice with Abel, I cannot imagine going with anyone else. His passion and knowledge of the city are unmatched and we all came away amazed at how much we had learned while sight seeing. It's truly a wonderful way to spend the day.

The highlight of our 1st trip to Barcelona was most certainly our Gaudi Premium 4-Hour Tour with Abel from Barcelona VIP Tour. My husband and I could never have imagined how overwhelmed we'd feel seeing Sagrada Familia for the 1st time,and to experience it with Abel there to guide and explain the significance of what we were seeing will always be with us. His background as an art historian and his effervescent personality brings history to life. Our tour then took us to the magical Park Guell (pictures do not do it justice) as well as 2 additional significant Gaudi buildings, La Pedrera and Casa Batilo. Every step of the way, Abel shared fascinating historical and cultural stories in a personal way that you can only get from a private tour. Apparently, Abel has had a number of Hollywood VIPs as his clients over the years, but for 4 hours, we were made to feel like VIPs. It is absolutely worth the splurge to experience these significant Barcelona sites with Abel to guide you.

Even if you had more than three days to see Barcelona, you could not really experience it as we did...with Abel. Interspersing his vast historical and architectural knowledge with the gorgeous sights and sounds of this magnificent city, he wove a fantastical web of delicious imagery every step of the way. Barcelona VIP Tours is beyond first class. When you walk with Abel, everyone extends respect that you just do not see anywhere else. Last week my wife and I did two four-hour tours of Barcelona with Mr Abel. The first was about Gaudì’s masterpieces and the second was a walking tour in the Old Town. It was a memorable experience, extremely interesting and engaging, which made us appreciate both the grand picture and the fine details of what we were visiting. Mr Abel is extremely knowledgeable: he taught us about art, history, traditions of Barcelona and made us appreciate the beauty, the culture, the quintessential character of the city and its inhabitants, in a fully immersive way. We strongly recommend it to everyone who wants to explore Barcelona in a way that goes well beyond standard tours. We felt really fortunate to have Mr Abel as a guide.

We booked 3 private tours; premium Gaudi with Tina, Girona and tapas tour with Abel and his company.
The first tour was Gaudi and Tina was our guide. Her enthusiasm and her extensive knowledge on Gaudi’s architecture- from Park Güell to the Sagrada Familia- truly impressed and left an amazing impression of both the sightseeing and the tour.
The second tour was Girona, and I was specifically excited to see the Game of Thrones sets where many of the scenes were filmed. Just like Tina, Abel was very enthusiastic throughout the tour. Not only did he point out the historical portions of Girona, but he also showed modern areas around the town. We were even able to visit the local food market and had a taste of the famous gelato and sandwich shops only available in Girona.
We met later with Abel for our third tour- the tapas tour. Abel took us to tapas bars that mostly locals went to: not many tourists were there! The food was amazing, especially for seafood lovers. To walk off the food, Abel took us to the Old Town and we saw even more beautiful architecture and historical buildings of Barcelona. Although the Tapas were excellent, but the highlight of tapas tour was the local churros shop. We don’t think as tourists we would be able to find this delicious local churros shop on our own. We are still dreaming about the churros when we are back home.

I highly recommend a private tour of Sagrada Familia and our guide Abel was too notch. My family was quickly escorted to the front of the line where we learned about the magnificent history about Gaudi and the buildings continued construction. I highly recommend Barcelona VIP!!
