We rented the e-cargo bike (with a basket at the front) which was perfect for our twins (3 years old) plus 6 year old. Easy to manoeuvre after a few minutes of practice. Service by the shop’s staff was friendly and diligent. Highly recommended.

Great place. We were in Barcelona and looking for a great way to explore the city. Very reasonable price. 12 euro for 4 hours. You have to put down a 50 euro deposit each bike. No worries at the end of the day. It was returned without any problems. The person who helped us gave us a map of the city and recommendations of where to explore. We covered 12 miles of Barcelona. Had lunch at the beach and covered a large area in a short amount of time. We loved exploring the city on bikes so much we went back 2 days later. Highly recommend.

We rented 3 bicycles from this place. 2 bikes and a tandem bicycle. The person who greeted us was very cool, he adjusted the seats for each rider, checked the tires, showed us how to lock the bikes properly. He also showed us the best route. The bicycles were I'm great condition. All in all we couldn't be any happier with this experience. Thank you!

What a wonderful way to see Barcelona, I highly recommend it. We're a biking family in California, so the idea of getting on a bike and biking around a busy town wasn't too out of the question, but it was easier than I thought. Bike infrastructure in Barcelona makes it feel really safe, much better than the United States. The cargo bike was also a great way for the kids to hang out, see the site and not get too cranky. Set aside the entire day, its not something that you want to do for only a few hours. Also, we didn't need an ebike for the parent not pushing the kids, since the type of cargo bike they have (front loader cargo tricycle) are really hard to master and I didn't feel comfortable going more than 10 mph. Helpful owners, their bicycles gave us an unforgettable day during our trip. Because we had two 10 year old kids , I searched for shops that had kids bikes, and fortunately the only one i found was 5 minutes walk from our hotel and 5 minutes ride from the beach. Also because in the end my daughter was afraid to cycle, we had the option to get the double bicycles, which ended to be an amazing 4 hours experience. Thank you Happy Bikes, you made us Happy.

Very friendly staff who spoke both English and French besides the local languages of course. Cheap price for solid enough city bikes that were adequate for a few hours of relaxed sightseeing. Close to a pleasant promenade along the beach. We came midday in October and easily got two bikes without having reserved. Recommend.
