The Old Cathedral of Lleida stands in a dominant position looking down on the City. The cloisters are magnificent and believed to be the biggest in Europe. Unusually, as well as being open onto a square, one side of the cloister is also open to the outside with views across the City. Parking on the Site is available but do... More

Amazing restoration and original construction. Great panoramic views. Recommend climbing the 238 steps up the clock tower.

Lleida´s old cathedral is within a fortress complex, which is also worth a wonder. You also have good views of the city from up here. Well worth the visit.

This historic site gives a bit of insight into what it must have been like in old times. Spectacular views of the town from the bell tower which climb is not for the faint hearted. The church is beautiful and there was a wedding ceremony when we visited.

En route to Santuario de Torrecuidad from Barcelona, we checked the map for towns on the way for side trip to make the road trip more interesting. This city and this site in particular was so breathtaking. Worth the side trip for pilgrims driving to Torrecuidad from Barcelona.

We only stopped here for a brief break on our 4 hour travel to the mountains and we are truly glad that we did. Take the escalator and then the lift up to the upper reaches of the town and then up the short path to the castle hill, for a collection of wonderful buildings and breath-taking sights. Do not... Situated on top of a large "rock" this castle and cathedral is well worth the perseverance ( and some what doggy neighbourhood ) that you have to drive through. Two options, park at the bottom and walk and take a lift - exhausting - or drive to the large free car park at the top. It is signposted, but not... More

Lots of seedy types hanging around. The neighborhood looks very dangerous, would not recommend anyone to go there. The landmark itself looks amazing, but better take a look from your car with your windows closed

Just beautiful! This is a perfect day trip from the coastal town we were staying in (Salou). It was an easy hour drive. The parking is very easy, and the café had great food. No need to even go into the city! All you have to do is drive right up to the church and park. The church is beautiful,... More
