Quiet and small definitely worth the visit just behind the old church which is up the steps from the beach and the sea.

We visited the museum in August when there was a cultural festival on. As a result there was free admission. What a house full of treasures ! I love the V and A in London and for me , this was the same on a smaller scale . The way everything was displayed was a sheer delight and the lack... More

We chanced upon the Cau Ferrat museum whilst walking through Sitges. The building which houses it is stunning and the museum itself is fascinating. Unfortunately we couldn't go on an English speaking tour the day of our visit so we wandered round on our own. For 2.50 euro each (senior rate) we were quite happy. Unfortunately though the detailed help... More

This is a lovely little museum if you like to see collections. The house itself is the greatest asset of the museum, and is so lovely and surprising in many places that you won't want to leave. I still have fantasies of moving in. It won't take long to make your way around the exhibits, and it's a nice break... More

Recently revisited this little museum after many, many years. The renovation work is stunning. The rooms are magnificent with a cornucopia of local art. The ceramics and Catalan iron work are beautiful. The only unfortunate thing was that on the day we visited, some rooms were closed for preparing an exhibition. It would have been helpful if we had been... More

Basically the long Sitges beach is divided in two big chunks: one with a long walk and several restaurants. The other with a fairly long walk and various restaurants... and in the middle there's a nicely intricate set of narrow streets that have been perfectly preserved, offering breathtaking views on the sea. A must go!

Had no idea how extensive this collection would be. Every turn there was a new 'wow' moment, from the incredible carved beams in the ceiling to the delicate Roman era glassworks and the iron work. It's a great introduction to Sitges history and the painters from the region, and Seems miles away from the beaches and cafes. Explanations mostly only in... More

We bought passes for this museum and the castle nearby at a very good price. The staff were helpful and asked if we were teachers/academics, there is a special rate if you have proof of this - very civilised! The museum is bigger than it looked and there are some lovely works of art and sculpture set out sympathetically. The... More
