What a fantastic market. There's a great selection of produce and eating/drinking places too. Very atmospheric.

So many meat, fish, cheese and fruit/vegetable stalls, all with wonderfully fresh looking produce. Would be spoiled for choice. Not as crowded as some markets so lots of time to ponder. And if everthing gets too much, there's always Mercadona downstairs!

Local markets always provide a great insight to places. A smallish market about a large supermarket. It caters for all food ranges and not touristy. We ate in the one sit down restaurant and great value for money and good food. Also ate at a...More

The old market is a lovely bit of architecture and still has a proper market indoors, though it has been a little sanitised. There are several stalls that you can sit at and enjoy breakfast or lunch, you can even have a beer for breakfast...More

I love markets, and this one is pretty premiere. Very clean lines and well lit with a manageable number of stalls, occupied by friendly vendors... it's all good. I'm braising the oxtails that I bought as I write this. Lots of great stuff to see,...More

a nice art-deco facade with its bow and clock, and a great market inside (with a supermarket downstairs...). great choice of fish and meat, cheese, and any kind of local products.

It is OK but not worth getting out of your way. Fruits, meat, fish stand, some pastries and even sushi. The architecture is OK but not outstanding.
