A brief visit to the city

An interesting collection of furnishings. The staff were very considerate in that they made their staff lift available for my wife to use, which allowed to see the museum.

The Museum is not too big (the house is over 400 years old but refurbished) however it is good to visit in order to read / learn about the woman who saved A Coruna. The museum is set on 3 floors (4th & 5th is under construction) and each floor have good information. There are old original letters, maps, weapons... More

There is little to see in this house except for 3 paintings of Maria Pita, who is a heroine in La Coruña because she fought bravely against the forces of Sir Francis Drake. There are also explanations of her life, but little else.
