This is right in the heart of the Old City. There are four covered arcades of food stalls, three for meat and one for fish. There are also fruit stalls in the open areas, plus some bars. Very well worth a visit.

Fresh fish and meat, incredible fruits and veggies. Cool statues. Friendly vendors. Don’t get here early though as they seem to start late. 10am or so, I’d suggest.

A very large mercado, split in 8 naves, and on the front and on the street side local paisanas sell their fruit and vegetables. Shortly before lunch, crowded in nave 5, with several little bars with tapas.
