We loved everything that the Rock offers. Beautiful views of the port with a cruise ships that had just docked. The macaques are so much fun and they interact with the drivers who are familiar to them. The caves are beautiful and a must see.

An iconic landmark that is more impressive in the flesh than in photographs. Accessible by cable car taxi or if very brave ( and fit ) walkable. Go up and see the apes and admire the views.

It is pretty expensive to go up on the old cable car and it looks like someone should spend a bit of money on the place but the view is to die for and even though i hate monkeys they tend to keep to themselves...More

That's what one should come here for ! Gibraltar is one big historic site, if you are a true Brit it is a visit that you should undertake.

The views from here are spectacular. You can see almost 360 degrees. You can drive up some of the way and then walk other ways. Watch out for the monkeys everywhere.

No wonder this is rated as the top thing to do. It is excellent! We took a taxi (100 sterling for five people, did not pay for junior under 5 years). It took close to two hours, but very enjoyable time all of it. The...More

We took the cable car up and back for a whopping €19 euro for 6 minutes. The whole place is rundown and sad looking. Good spot to take that iconic rock picture and you will definitely see monkeys but that's about it.

Its best to go to the main square, and to the Taxi association stand, there you will be able to get a taxi tour for £25pp or €35pp. There will be 4 stops on the way for photo opportunities, and the price includes, entry into...More

Him you can walk to the top, takes about 3 - 4 hrs (depending on how quick you walk and how fit you are, personally, I wouldn't recommend it, take the cable car to the top then walk down.

If you are able then walk it. Why would you pay £25 for a tour/taxi if you can walk and take in the views as you go? £10 will get you into most attractions once you are up there. The route I took started to the right of the... More

I just turned up and bought a ticket on a day. The views are stunning, you can have a lovely affordable meal at the restaurant on top of the rock.
