Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I walked from Casemates Square to Europa Point today - Its a nice walk sure enough but I have done it before and I didnt fancy walking back - Bus??
Then I spotted the tunnel which leads down to Little Bay (which I had seen from the Main Road) , so I proceeded. Its a nice walk - not much going on - its October and the season is well and truly over.
The walk beyond Little Bay and into Rosia Bay leading to the Trafalgar Cemetary roundabout is quite superb with great views to your left over the Bay and the attractive accomodation to the right.
The walk is essentially flat as opposed to Europa Road which is a tough uphill half of its length and is WAY more picturesque - there is a superb Italian Seafood restaurant just after Rosia Bay and before you get to the outskirts of town which is well worth a visit.
The round trip was around 12 Kilometres and I completed it in about 3 hours - I wasnt rushing and spent a bit of time at EP.
Lovely way to spend an afternoon before returning to Casemates and well earned beer at one of the many fine restaurants in Casements.

Rosia Bay itself is in poor condition, if viewed from eyes that saw it so many moons ago. Playing Volley ball, swimming with Octopus. Learning to play Guitar there with so many nice people, there were two rafts to swim out to, and a coconut matting wooden decking around most of the bay. A little shop where Maria would have frozen Mars bars and Bottles of coke. Bliss. Now it looks a bit sad. But carry on South and it is in no time 4 stars Camp Bay, just through the little tunnel is really nice. Continue past Little Bay through a longer tunnel to Europa point. A nice walk, but with a decent incline to the tunnel. Nice views all along the way.

we walked to Rosia bay after visiting Europa point , it was a lovely surprise when we walked up to it, a definite place to revisit and somewhere to go to enjoy the sun at that side of the rock

Other than the fact it is believed this is where Nelson was brought ashore after Trafalgar there’s nothing much to see here. As you continue along the road towards Europa Point you’ll come across the more attractive Camp and Little Bays (although the Lido complex is shuttered during winter months). A “waterfall” pours down the cliff on the inland side and you’ll probably scratch your head as to where all the water comes from - well actually it’s salt water from the desalination plant being retuned to the sea! There’s also an artificial reef just offshore (claimed to be Europe’s first) and a popular diving site. You then continue along the road through the carved out rock tunnel and arrive at Europa Point.

Fabulous down to earth restaurant, serving basic home cooked good food, at a reasonable price, visited twice and wouldn’t hesitate to return

The views of the bay from shore are quite beautiful. Especially if the sun peaks out which it did for a few minutes. But the wind when I was here was extreme and it made my eyes water and taking pictures was hard.

This is where Nelson’s body was brought ashore after Trafalgar. It’s in a derelict state. No plaque or installation.
