Unfortunately the main Cathedral of Logroño was closed while we stayed in the city. It was a pity as we had no chance to visit the interior. From the outside it looks nice though.

Visiting Najera, visiting this monastery is a must. You almost feels the itching on your arms, as you realize the importance of it throughout history. I just don't know why the Spanish never can get a decent guide in English.

I loved the building even though the church was closed at the time of my visit. It's still a great place to photograph on the outside.

Dating from the 16th to 18th century, this cathedral is dedicated to the worship of the Virgin Mary. It has a couple of beautiful altars, and its towers host stork nests. The interior is quite dark.

We decided to take a 14 days 'camino' walk and we stop in Logrono. that is where we find this great church. On the plaza we had lunch. A wonderful day along the long walk!
