Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very fun experience! The dancers and singers performed with such emotion it was amazing to watch. We had front row seats and enjoyed seeing this traditional dance in person! My only note is that the seats were a bit uncomfortable. After about a half hour my rump became sore and I had to move around a lot

A great way to have a taste of this beautiful dance art. We had a reservation made in advance, including one drink per person. Only complaint- it is one hour long, too short! The performance is mesmerizing

Interesting experience to discover flamenco’s way. I think that is a tourist version, however, is a Pleasant experience. 1h of duration. We paid 18€ for each person because We’re students. In Madrid, this price, is absolutely competitive. Recommended!

My husband and I went yesterday evening to the 6pm performance. We were thoroughly captivated by the dancing, the guitar playing, and the singing. Drinks were part of the ticket price, and additional drinks were available up until the time of the performance, but the focus was purely in the performing from then on. There were two female dancers and one male dancer. All were wonderful. The interaction among the performers was warm and collaborative. We highly recommend this show!

We’ve seen a lot of high level Flamenco over the years when it comes to NYC. Still we wanted to see flamenco in Madrid. We read about this place in the lonely planet guide book and we were not disappointed. It’s a small-ish lovely theater in a very vibrant and hip neighborhood. (The neighborhood itself had a lot of fun stores and restaurants). The flamenco was very good and we were able to get seats up close. It lasted about an hour which was exactly what we wanted and were at super convenient times- 630 and 830. Our hotel had tried to send us to other various touristy flamenco places. We had even made a reservation at the top rated place (later cancelled) but they spent a lot of time on the phone trying very hard to persuade me to get dinner or if not that at least tapas. Here, it’s all about the flamenco; it’s not about selling you extras. There were tourists here sure but there were lots of locals too and the price was much lower than the touristy place. The main point is that it’s nice to support smaller venues like this that have a great authentic vibe and we really enjoyed our evening here.

This was our 5th flamenco show in Spain so far, and it was certainly near the top in terms of quality (THE top was, without any doubt, the show at Cafe del Duende in Valencia). The crew was engaging, passionate, and true professionals. The venue is larger than that of most flamenco shows we have been too, so come 30 minutes early to get the closer seats. Tickets were 20 euros if bought online from Teatro Alfil website, which is a great deal.

The show itself was amazing, the dancers were really talented. Highly recommend! However, I suggest getting there early to get a good seat. Unfortunately, the service was really slow because they only had 1 bartender making drinks for what looked like 80+ plus people, and it frustrated a lot of customers since the show was getting ready to start and not a lot of people had their 1 drink/tapas yet. I recommend to enjoy drinks before the show. I would rate a 5 if I didnt have to approach the counter three times to get my paid drink before the show started. Hopefully they hire another bartender.

I attended a flamenco show at Teatro Flamenco and was shocked at the poor quality of the performers. The singers, from the opening to the end were awful, there were only 2 dancers a male and female. The female was a hoofer and the male was less than graceful. The only redeeming person was the guitarist who was quite good.
I have seen Flamenco previously and believe that those who gave good reviews don't understand what they should be seeing.
I'm sorry I wasted my time.

This was not the spectacular show I was hoping for. One main male and female dancer. Very repetitive. Costumes not stunning. An hour seemed a very long time! Dancers were clearly talented but actual show was boring.

The theatre is small and efficiently run. Tickets can be bought online. We were seated quickly and served with a drink, which is included in the ticket price.
The show itself was fantastic, the time flew by. The audience was enthusiastic and the performers had great energy.
It is crowded and not many people wear masks because they are drinking, so social distancing is not possible.
