Visited Madrid for the 2nd time and although we didn’t pay to go in taking a look at the palace is recommended, beautiful stone building and you can work round the gardens for free

A great place to come for a nice walk after eating, you can eat in the restaurants in the surroundings and then lay down on the grass. The views are just beautiful

Visited during the free hours - 4 to 6 PM for EU citizens, monday to thursday. I don't think I would have been happy to pay €11 to visit. The rooms were great. The paintings and murals on the ceiling especially were very good.

In Madrid this is a must see :) Beautiful and well kept palace. Plan enough time to visit all the nicely decorated prestigious rooms. Inside- and also outsidevisit with breathtaking views are great.

The palace is everything you would expect - lavish, grand and flashy. The part that really takes the cake though is the armory - make sure not to miss it

Although we didn't book the tour, you can still see a lot of this amazing huge building. Lots of great views for good photos. There is also some beautiful gardens (Sabatini) on the north side which are free and very tranqil and relaxing.

Interesting tour with a fantastic view of parts of the city! It was well worth the visit to see how royalty lived in the past, knowing that the Palace is still in use!.

We didn't pre-book so spent as much time queuing as we did in the place ! But, it is worth it and very impressed even though there are areas with restricted access.

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
performers, colorful lights, window shopping,
restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as
