Stellar Show

The food wasn't fantastic, but the show certainly was. The musicians were incredible and the dancers were intense!

We decided on this location after reading reviews (online and in Rick Steves' travel book) and pricing out several shows. Based on all the options this seemed like the best choice and after the experience I can see why! We booked dinner reservations and our tickets ahead of time (I suggest this, it made everything really easy and you can... More

We saw the show for my birthday, and it did not disappoint! Everyone - the musicians, the singers, and the dancers were phenomenal! Everyone was so talented and gave us exactly what a flamenco show should be! We will talk about this show for a long time and definitely recommend it for any visitors to Madrid! The sangria is also... More

Really loved this Authentic Flamenco show on our last night in Madrid. The music was phenomenal, the service prompt and the dancers were out of this world. A must see!!

Casa Patas is thee flamenco spot to hit if you're into real flamenco and food. The restaurant offers quality Madrid fare and was worth the price. I reserved dinner for two (and the show) and was not disappointed with either, although the back room is kind tight, that only makes the show more powerful and personal. The meal was excellent,... I have never been so let down by my fellow TripAdvisor reviewers. Chose this place based on the rave reviews. The performers are truly phenomenal....all of them...the guitarist, singers and dancers. The show itself Is fantastic. But flamenco is a beautiful, sexy, passionate artform meant to be viewed and enjoyed completely....NOT from the waist up, sitting literally shoulder to shoulder... The musicians and dancers were absolutely wonderful and authentic! We loved the venue! It was small and intimate, a perfect gem to see a great show! Make reservations ahead of time. A must ATTEND!

It was really nice time spent in casa paras watching flamenco. 1,5h passed like 5 min. Songs and dances were amazing. However I think that price is a bit too high 38€ per person including only one drink. I'd definitely recommend visiting casa patas for flamenco but in the meantime I'd advice to the administration to review prices

I was sceptical about this being a "touristic" show, when it was recommended by our host, but that could not have been further from the truth! The room at the back of the restaurant is dark and filled with photos and posters of musicians, singers and dancers who have performed here. The stage is unadorned, just chairs for the performers... Staying in Huertas

Neighbourhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
