While visiting my nephew we went to the park for a winter walk and some tostadas. It was a chilly morning and we sat outside looking at the lovely autumn colours in the trees. It's a huge and beautiful park, clean and tidy and well kept. Worth a visit for sure.

this place is big so bring a map! on the upside it's just a short walk from the Prado museum and tons of other major attractions in the area, so wherever you go in or come out you'll end up by something great. I love the reflecting pool area, it's such a cute idea. The paddle boats were still out... More

A shady place to watch the world go by or have a coffee or take a boat out in the boating lake. There is not much of the Royal palace left just a couple of plain building but the glass conservatory is a riot of glass and iron.

I visited the park during my stay in Madrid. It's an absolutely beautiful park with modern sculptures, areas for children, runners and something for everyone. There is a particular glass palace that naturally draws a lot of people to it and it is set within a magnificent setting with water features, sculptures, special trees growing in the adjacent lake and... Retiro Park is amazing and everyone knows it! It is well used by families, couples and friends of all ages. It is huge and offers rentals of roller blades and small motorized vehicles for kids, has many great buskers, and has a pond where you can rent row boats or paddles boats. The fountains are plenty, the green space and... More

Beautiful walking paths, wonderful lake, expansive gardens and statuary, a great place to take a break from the hectic noise of the urban environment do beautiful Madrid. Took a 2 hour stroll and enjoyed every minute of it from the woodland gardens to the wonderful Crystal Palace with its unique sound exhibition.

Central Park in Madrid with many interesting fountains, ponds, statues and a glass house with sound effects inside. This is a good place to take a walk relaxing for half day.

We walked through this park on an afternoon and it was nice. There are a few places to stop and eat and you can sit somewhere and people watch and just take it all in. Great little spot.
